  • Another first…. The addition of a Cosign Milling machine to our CNC department – for manufacture of Milled counter plates. First in Ireland to produce these plates.

  • A new CMS plotter from Lasercomb compliments our CAD / design suite of equipment.

  • The installation of our new PTS Neo with 2.5kW Coherent laser source gives us more capacity and a second Rotary Laser.

  • Investment continues with 3 new machines this year…”Rubberplot” rubber cutting machine from Bobst, “RotaNeXt” from Serviform and “Rubba” from Serviform

  • Installation of ServiForm idea rule processor for flat dies
  • Another First. The installation of a ServiForm Rotax+ rule processing system – the first for Britain and Ireland

  • Installation of a new Diciesse Allrounder router system – The First of its kind in Britain and Ireland
  • Launch of our new Website

2012

  • Acquisition of Container Graphics Manufacturing (CGM), the European wing of Container Graphics Corporation. Our first venture into Rotary die making
  • This acquisition also give us exclusive distributorship  rights for all CGC products and components for Europe

  • Second Mechtronic laser added – this one with Rotary capability as we start to explore the world of Rotary Die-Making for Corrugated

  • Installation of Gerber Profile 404 router machine to complement our production processes

  • First mechtronic – Slab – laser installed.

  • Premises expansion to 2,300m² and installation of PCC2000 counter cutter.

  • New investment allows for the manufacture of counters and stripping tools

  • The arrival of the technological age with the purchase of our first laser system and CAD systems. “Truform Laser Dies Ltd” is born and the manufacture of Laser-cut dies begins
  • Influx of 2nd family generation oversees the technical evolution.

  • 3 factory moves and by 1981 relocation to current site 1,250m².

1967

  • Truform Limited founded in 1967 at Tyrconnell Yard, Dundalk.
  • Main target market was Northern Ireland throughout “the troubles” of the 70’s and 80’s
